Gracie isn't exactly the best horse for you to learn on because she doesn't have enough speed for you to actually learn? whats going on - you could use a horse with a bit more speed sometimes. You're getting the trot down really nice though - you're getting a great seat! A good thing you could work on with Gracie for sure is sitting the trot like you were here, and steering while trotting (keeping her out while trotting - you did well on that too!)

What really helps ... By: GuardianofDarkness. on 29 Nov 11, 06:48:43 What really helps to bring that black out is to mix it with a little? bit of royal blue, purple, or even brown. So it wont look so flat. I also agree with what XxBrokenPandaxX said about the hooves and the detail around the markings.
But what would also help is if you put a very slight pink behind his elbows and on his chest. It'll make it look more realistic because a horse just isn't flat out white. However if you like it that way then that's fine.

Oh i figured out ... By: XxBrokenPandaxX. on 14 Nov 11, 20:56:41 Oh i figured out with white coats, if you take the lightest grey color of pastels and highlight the muscels it realy brings it out. Takeing a frayed paintbrush to and lightly go on the pinto marking painting the edges is a nice way to get? that haired detial. Takeing some brown colored pencils to and makeing half rings around the hooves gives it a nice naily look- hope this tips r helpful. I LOVE THE WAY YOU PERFECTLY MATCHED HE'S PINTO MARKINGS!
