Thanks so much, friend. I agree that her work is beautiful, this? particular poem so contained, and yet so vast.

Thanks very much,? G. I guess I did what I could to honor this great poet whom I was at least lucky enough to see years ago. She was a marvel, her scope sea-vast.

I'm glad you came to see it, thanks. Yes, she was amazing, and I feel it's the least I could do. I saw her read once years ago, and I'll never forget it. Best to you. :) - E?

Absolutely my pleasure, K. The day she passed away I was snowed under? at work. I went to check email and messages on a micro-break, and there I saw your wonderful A. Rich upload, and then another friend's, and I learned what had happened. Before I had even seen newspapers. In spite of my lack of good software and equipment, I thought I would share this small poem I've loved since girlhood, for what it's worth. Thanks again.

Hi Doug, thanks so much. I really appreciate it. Rich was a marvel, but luckily her scope and fame allowed her to do? some good in the world, apart from merely sharing amazing poems.

Muchas gracias, querida Amalia. Me alegro que te hayas gustado el? poema. Adrienne Rich era una fuerza, una mujer poderosa. No soy capaz de honor su talento. Ojala que yo pudiese. Besitos, amiga. :-) E

Thanks, Dear One. You, who read this? and recorded it at a tender age, and with a voice made for such depths--wish we still had the tape--You inspire me as always. :-) "And how!"

Charles, you're so welcome, thanks. This giantess of poetry won't be forgotten any time soon. I once saw her read at Cal from "An Atlas of the Difficult World", and I never forgot the scope of her? vision, her depth and honor.

Hans, thanks to you for your kind and longstanding support. I really dig the video response you made, too! Thanks again for honoring Rich. It was so heartening to see your reading of her work last Thursday.? Best, E

Dearest H., Thank you so much for your warming and gracious words. For you I would gladly read! Cherries for the basket, early morning cups of tea and chats over the fence. A dragonfly on the wing. Nasturtiums blazing in the hand. I'm there, friend, wherever me make a moment for the bower of? poetry and friendship. :)

My friend, I'm grateful for your warm and touching comment. Your responsive kindness and literary synergy have always meant so much, and even go a long way to explaining why I remain--in spite of scant free? time--on YT. Thank you, too, for honoring Adrienne Rich this week.

Dear M., Thanks so much for this. It means a lot. Oh, how marvelous it? would have been! (Yes, I knew you meant Rossetti, no problem.) Alas! I remain grateful and am touched. I love what you do, and I'm happy for this affinity. All the best, E.

Hi James, thanks so much.Yes, she'll be missed. Thanks for your encouragement.? I'd love to read more. All I need to be granted is free time, what I don't yet have a drop of. I hope in good time that I can share just a few of the poems in my notebooks, anthologies, and those slim volumes that get unceremoniously stuffed into my commuter bag, wedged between teaching materials. Ah, you know the drill: poetry-on-I-pod at rush hour... ;-)

I'll surely try to, Andrew, thanks so much. This particular gem--thanks to Rich's gifts--flows with fecundity and a force barely contained by its brevity. I could never dream of doing her work justice. I once saw her read, and the sonorous sweep of her voice was perfect for her longer works and shorter poems,? too.
