We were absolutely negligent, just let Sunday get us in the same routine procedure, and totally forgot about the funeral. I never carried a bundle up the ladder. It's just the inside of a 16' extension ladder, and there's a garage door pulley on top, 1/2" cable running through it, attached to the two shelfs. I attached some metal clips on the back side of the shelves to keep them in track with the ladder frame. Other? than that, it's just common sense. one side goes up, one side goes down. TOO much work for me. As for my design, it's pretty basic, but you could use a million different? ways to do the same thing. I guess I could video it taken apart, and show you , if you want. And that little plywood block wall, on the outside end of the shingle shelf was unnecessary, I just forgot to knock? it off before this recording. I intend to make one that leans someday. The only problem I saw with it is that you have a problem getting the bundle off the lift when it is at the top. But, your design would be easier to duplicate. And, like I said, if you had wheels on the shelf, the friction would be gone, and you could lift two bundles at once. I weigh 200 pounds, and that weight worked out really well for two bundles. The reason the leaning lifts, like yours, only work with one bundle is because of the friction between the shelf? and the frame. I'm sure it could be built with wheels on the shelf, and eliminate all of the friction. Then, I bet you could lift two bundles at once. I really like the ...
