For example doing something like os.system("python.exe") may be required in windows but it may be just python in linux or doing os.system("python.exe") may not work at all. So if you were to do os.name on windows you get nt and this would be different for linux and mac systems so you? have to make sure that if you are running the commands on that system that they are on the right operating system to use those specific commands.Linux has the command ls in their terminal windows doesn't.
