Catarina Sforza de Espaņa Antigua is a 9 month old purebred California Vaquero Horse. This is her first experience with a plastic bag being whipped about. This is just after some very cold weather and rain. As you can see, she is nervous, but not scared enough to make her not think about what is going on. When she does get really revved up her movement is just breathtaking!

Fiesta of the Spanish Horse

Spanish type Sulphur horse (California Vaquero Horse) being presented at the 2004 Fiesta of the Spanish Horse. This was the first time Victoria had ever been in an indoor arena with this many people. The man riding behind us on his Spanish Norman was riding in real clanking armor that Victoria had also never heard that noise before. She tried so hard for me! Very proud of my girl!
