This should not be more serious than the freaking nuisance of your chest burning like hell, and barely chocking at night with your own gastric acid (sounds worst than it is at the end is just an nuisance). I had the surgery stayed 2 nights at the hospital, got 2 weeks? of leave at the office and now I am a very very very happy person... Ah! this made me fart a lot more, beware of grandpa after the surgery. LOL

Different story was with a "manometry" that I also had, this was a mimilar study but through the nose instead from the mouth, in this one I had to be concious and aware, and even that it didn't? hurt it was kind of disgusting.

Yes, I was sedated and sleep while they did the study. You should ask because I needed someone to pick me up after the study since I was not able to drive because the sedative.
