This is a song I wrote in 1994 on my land in Mississippi. The honeysuckle was blooming, the breeze was blowing across the pond, in short, a beautiful day. The quality is okay, didn't have a lot of time to record it and would love to record it again sometime. It bleeds over into another song I wrote called Blows Me Away. Take it for what it is.... a song from my heart
This song I wrote about my brother, who rode out hurricane Katrina in his boat and helped many people afterwards. The song is called,"One Hellava Storm", It's about hard times bringing out your best or worst and how we can rise in those moments to become a hero, and that the reward of goodness is goodness inside. He is an un-sung hero that I'm ready to sing about.

Two good friends of mine use to jam with me on this one, Dave Chapman and Captain Carl Sikes, both recently passed on. R.I.P. my two dear friends. Even though Cover Me has another meaning in its lyrics, You guys always Covered Me when we played. You helped me sound good. This world is a lot colder place with you two gone. I guess you're jamming in heaven now..save a seat for me please ;)

All I can say is sometimes you can meet someone and the attraction is awesome, but they still can turn out to be a mistake.... at least for me, being the Polly Anna that I am, such a Sagittarius trait, I at least got this song.... worth every penny he owes me!
Excuse the end of upload... it's the beginning of my song One Hell of a Storm... give that a listen too... it's about my brother who? helped to saved people after Katrina. :p
