They should appeal to Suzuki? Corporate, & they should come back and tell you that they will repaint it under warranty. Since being repainted, our girl has only gotten a couple chips from actual rocks, & some a-hole scuffed up the rear bumper in a parking lot. Otherwise, she's doing great; getting an average of 24.8 mpg! i love our Kizashi, ... Sadly, it doesn't snow very much in Southern California to really test out the AWD. I bought a kizashi SX 1 month ago and there are at least 6 rock chips already on the car. Other? than the rock chip, i am pretty happy with the car. I think it was both ... By: gifa01. on 27 Dec 10, 02:27:52 I think it was both a one-off and a manufacturing defect. By our vin #, ours was the 200th or so made and a lot of us early buyers got hit with the paint issue. Suzuki took 6 weeks to acknowledge it wasn't impact damage (which in corporation time is actually pretty fast). Once they did, they took care of it. Since then,? I hear the newer Kizashi's haven't had the same paint problems. It seems that they fixed it with their customers, and with their manufacturing. Thanks for the ... By: gifa01. on 26 Dec 10, 23:38:40 The first 6 months were a little rocky... had some popping in the speakers when we turned the car on and off, bluetooth would freak out the audio, and we had some paint chipping issues. But Suzuki took good care of us, repainted the car, fixed the? audio issues, and we got a nose and hood bra for a little extra insurance on the paint at the front of the car. It's been nothing other than a 24.5 mpg head turner ever since. We love our Kizashi. Care to elaborate ...
