The first practice runs of our Team Line Sorting. I wanted to leave the ambient sound to help you get a feel for the event. I hope it's not too distracting.

2011 Year End Tribute to Jessie
Posted by: johnharrer
Video duration: 176 seconds
My year-end tribute to Jessie to the music of my favorite Downunder songs. We had a lot of fun in 2011, although we didn't shoot much video.
PS. I didn't realize how much I stood on her back until I started hunting up the videos.

Arena? We don't need no stinkin' arena. Hell the world is our arena. Join us as we take some Downunder Horsemanship intermediate exercises on the road.
Oh, and just as a by-the-way, an arena would be really nice!

Ride - March 13th 2011
Posted by: johnharrer
Video duration: 170 seconds
A quick little video from Sunday's ride. We had an encounter with some helium balloons on a windy day, some trots through the high grass, and a walk through a lovely little unofficial dump site. Some of our neighbors are unclear on the concept of "Keep America Beautiful". Since we can't stop them, we'll use it as a desensitizing area.

Horse H-O-R-S-E
Posted by: johnharrer
Video duration: 411 seconds
Remember the basketball game of H-O-R-S-E? You know the one. You would call your shot, "Dribble around the trashcan, bounce the ball off the garage door, spin around twice and make the basket shooting backwards". If you made it, and your friend didn't, he got a letter.
Well, this is our horse version of H-O-R-S-E.

haha yes I got myself a beauty across the back/butt I stopped shortly after when I got a few decent cracks, that was enough for one day.... I will have? to have another go soon with the horses... would make good footage me cracking a stock whip while on my Brumby :) He would probably fall asleep though haha

It is a tricky skill hey! Lucky you have your hat on, my dad got a stock? whip for christmas and the instructions are very clear to wear a hat and sun glasses haha I worked out why when I had a go....it is very easy to collect yourself with the whip! Well done and what a lovely girl Jessie is :)
