If you? attach a string to that pole and pull on it you can make the pole sway side to side. Now if you rope a bunch of them together, and have a big wheel with bumps on it pull on the cord you can make them all sway in unison. Change the bumps to change the pattern. The clay stayed soft due to the warmth of my hands and it was hard to work on and add details.
