im african american and blackfeet indian but my dad did give us to much? info on his side of his hertagae but i remember my grandmother would scream at the kids dat would make fun of my colour and eyes and my skin waz dark and hair waz long and different she would say be proud that ur a blackfeet and she showned me lots of ways to heal pep from the earthe and dance so im proud but lost

I'm 65% Blackfeet and about 25% Cree and about 10% white maybe a little? less then 10% but I do live on Blackfeet reservation and its awesome here

Im black, and I have 10-15 percent indian, both blackfoot and cherokee, and A little bit of white, but Majority Im black, but I know sinced I have indian bloodline, that Im not 100? percent black. But, my apperance is black. Im glad I have indian ancestors too. Its weird because my mom has more indian than me, shes still black but she has more of the bloodline, but the indian shows more in me than her, and Im darkskinned.

Man this is awesome. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm either Blackfoot or Cherokee. I do know that I'm German, Norwegian, French, either Blackfoot or Cherokee (I'm not sure which), and possibly Italian. I am proud to say that I have so many different cultures running through my? veins. I just wish I new more about my Native American background. From what I do know, is that my... great grandfather? I think it's my great grandfather. Anyways, he married a Blackfoot or Cherokee princess. Wish I new more.

I am 25% welsh 25% portugues and? a 1/16 blackfoot indian its not much but people can tell i have indian in me due to my high cheekbones. i want to know more about the blackfoot tribe and about my heritage but no one in my family will tell me.

That reminds me of a Na' Pi story about Old Man stealing the suns hunting leggings.They were used to catch a bush on fire and make the animals run out,away from smok and fire,only to be shot down my the sun and old man.The ending? is a pretty good lesson about,well,what some people call "karma".Look it up if you've never heard the story and enjoy ;)

Im Kicakpoo and Navajo Desendant I also do not let? anything stop me from who iam even if i look white. I use to get teased alot by other native kids growing up becasue I didnt look native. :( Although I have my tribal id that still didnt help any very much. But still proud of who iam.

On the discussion about the Scots being there, I am descended from John Grant (Scot fur trader) and Isabelle Lussier (Blackfoot) who are on the original roles for the reservation. I'm too far removed to be part of? the tribe but I know that my Scot ancestor did a lot for the tribe including being involved with the Red River incidents and living with the tribe. Not only him but his brothers and other Hudson Bay Company traders had much to do with the tribe.
