Although Bobby Fischer gave lots of interviews, there are very few to be found. The only other Bobby Fischer audio I've heard was his interview hours after the 9--11 conspiracy was played out in NYC and Washington DC This is a new one I came across and thought it would be of interest.

watch?v=Vqbq_bPCzN8 explains what will happen if bishop? takes rook

that's white's queen?
By: TricksterChow. on 23 May 12, 00:17:36
If white plays Bxf8, black follows up with Bxf8, Qc1, and Nxc3 (theres no queen taking on c3 because of bishop to b4) now? there is unconfortable pressure on white because he can swing his rook to e8 and start a attack. also, black has alot of piece activity now.

bxf7? think again..?
By: milojevicmarko92. on 22 May 12, 01:02:51
in my opinion, natural way of developing after bxf7 - bxf7, qc1 (avoiding the bishops attack), rf8, bf2, black to move. i believe, after this black has a solid position, all pieces active, and Fischer would surely use it? in a devastating way no doubt

Byrne planned to make Fishcer's queen move to somewhere else (only safe moves are? c7 or d8 which are pretty passive) THEN Byrne would eat fischer's rook. After the capture Byrne would be ahead in controlling the board.

in check from? who? himself?!
By: PrawDuhJee. on 20 May 12, 19:50:18
It would have resulted in an attack on white's queen by the bishop and byrne didn't want to lose any more moves, he needed to get his? king out of danger.
By: fogfrogblog. on 20 May 12, 19:41:02
If bishop ate the? rook bishop will retake and threatens queen and might end up her getting trapped if not then fisher gets a minor piece with two pawns for a rook an okay exchange. Plus he gets the initiative and pieces are more active while the opponents king is still unsafe
