it's not an opinion when you say "unlike current bands? they can play their instruments." because there are? so many bands who do. do you realize how big music is? it spans all over the world. it's not just the american pop stuff. you are very ignorant to say what you did and your response is even crazier. you just want to shit on mainstream because you feel cool that you like jawbreaker. i know i'm typing to a wall here but you're totally wrong. it's not opinion, what you said was false.

never said? NO ONE EVER ON THE PLANET could play instruments and be in a good band, im simply saying theyre better than most current bands. and i ended the comment 'in my opinion' so i dont need people to agree, thanks.
By: ahhhitsrob. on 25 May 12, 23:09:28
yes because their aren't millions of bands also playing instruments..get? your face out of the ass of mainstream.

sunny day real estate? brought me here
By: rockandrollnigger. on 23 May 12, 00:27:44
well to be honest it wasn't the fans they tour with nirvana on this album and it sold? 200,000 copies but these labels signed a lot of bands and they got stuck in limbo in 94 Jawbox, shudder to think , and these guys to name a few
By: LxNightriderxL. on 22 May 12, 17:10:16
To? be honest, I prefer Bad Religion to Jawbreaker. They're one of my favourite bands.

What is "A Day to? Remember?" I have very little exposure to popular culture. I actually haven't left my own property for 72 hours, and have no TV, if that means anything to you. From what I gather you're pretty good at assessing a person's character based on a few short sentences.

You're a memespewing, faggot. Seriously, I don't expect much from the YouTube comments section, but that was literally the most cringeworthy thing I've seen all day. You're no better than the? tumblr retards that say "le rage face" when they go to the mall and shop for the latest A Day to Remember CD.
By: machinesbreathe. on 13 May 12, 22:07:09
Bauemeister is a monster on the bass! "Want"? off of Unfun is a perfect example.

>aside from Bad Religion >besides Bad Religion >Bad Religion >better than Jawbreaker Nigga,? you just went full retard
By: SandyEggo666. on 13 May 12, 17:42:28
Are you saying? Jawbreaker songs are not technical? I play guitar and bass, and their songs are not easy; hold the Kiss the Bottle up to any Blink-182 song. both Blake and Chris were very talented though I can't say about Adam. Blake uses a lot of creative licks and chord progressions that are fun to learn

I hate definitions created just to create trends sell image & bullshit. The band that comes to mind that nobody ever mentions that fits the description offered by the lame music industry of emo are The Afghan Whigs. Hardcore & the most emotionally? confessional lyrics of any band from the 90's.. Listen to the songs Debonair or I'm Her Slave. A lot of bands fit the description but it is just that those bands don't quite have the something to line the pockets of the image makers in the industry.
By: ethancold2. on 13 Apr 12, 02:24:18
Excuse me but the Post-Hardcore community would have? to disagree with that statement.
By: 7PlayingWithFire7. on 10 Apr 12, 14:53:53
Excuse me, but Hawthorne Heights would actually much rather go for the genre of? Post-Hardcore. And they can play their instruments, and their songs are definitely mot technical that this song. This is the underline of "can't play their instruments". Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Sunny Day Real Estate (which is more true to the term of emo than this, this is basically indie rock meets pop-punk). Not a bad song, but honestly, I prefer Hawthorne Heights (whom aren't neccesarily emocore, but still).

no matter what anyone says, jawbreaker is still the most underrated, brilliant band ever. blakes lyrics are perfect, and unlike current bands they can play their instruments. they arent sellouts because they signed with a major label. selling out means you change your style and betrayed your fans, which they didnt do,? in my opinion.

Apart from the fact their was huge tensions in the band before Dear You. Blake has said that Geffen deal saved the band from collapse. In all fairness, it isn't a bad album over all it. Its just annoying self appointed punk leaders (like the ones? in "Boxcar") scoff at it.

Here's how things are gonna work now. Jawbreaker, braid, cap'n jazz, and kin get to be "emo", as well as newer bands with similar sound and themes. Bands like Hawthorne Heights, are now "nüemo". Because Nü is german? for shitty. I'm mostly (not) kidding. It has been said, therefore it is.
