Linocut #1 - Introduction, Preparation, & Tranfer

This is the first in a series of videos that demonstrate the linocut process. It shows all the preparatory steps in scoring, cutting, and squaring the raw block. A drawing is tranferred to its clean surface, ready to be carved by the gouge. The video taped live in the Intro to Print studios at East Tennessee State University, with instructions by Professor Ralph Slatton.
