October 28, 2011 ? The White Salmon River in Washington state is flowing again as the nearly 100-year-old Condit Dam was disabled with explosives Wednesday. The reservoir draining took about 2 hours. Further demolition is scheduled in 2012. The event is a significant milestone for river restoration and dam removal nationwide.

The Telescope has a very narrow bandpass allowing you to see the chromosphere and not the much brighter photosphere below it. The music was composed in Abelton Live.

MTA NYC Transit's Corona Subway Yard in Queens is home to the 7 subway fleet. Each weekday morning between 5 am and 8 am, 27 trains leave Corona Yard to provide service to the Flushing Line's 450000 customers. The 27 trains join five already in service to provide 32 trains during the peak hours.
